Alyson Hannigan Introduces Jockey’s Skimmies with Humorous TV & Digital Spots
Laird & Partners hired Evolve to introduce Jockey’s new Skimmies clothing line with a goal to create brand awareness and drive retail purchases. Alyson Hannigan (How I met your Mother, Buffy the Vampire Killer) was chosen to host this series of humorous digital spots that comically dramatize women’s embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions and show how “Skimmies Saves the Day.”
The successful, award-winning spots were directed by Emmy award winner, Glenn F. Clements (James Corden’s Late Late Show, Carpool Karaoke, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Words with Friends Live) and filmed in downtown Los Angeles.
When Laird & Partners approached us, they had the concept in place and Evolve was brought on to develop and execute it. Part of the challenge was making sure that everything was framed to work on Instagram, but would also look great on TV or at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Evolve managed all aspects of the production; pre-production, casting, locking down locations in downtown Los Angeles, production, and the final post production. We added Emmy nominated editor Guy Harding to lead post and in collaboration with Glenn, we came up with these four fun pieces. All of which we ere able to shoot in one day.
